This is my brother and his son.  For over 7 years they were both subjected to the travesty & farce that is the divorce process.  Despite all credible evidence & testimony to the contrary they were subjected to an incredibly sex-biased custody ruling not in their favor.  My brother has put everything else in his life on complete hold & does nothing that does not put his son's care & childhood quality first.  The state, however, has regularly decided that they have not been yet subjected to enough arbitrary interference & the ever implicite threat of potential seperation.  There has never been a credible or even slightly substantiated alegation against him as a father or provider, yet he has many times had to pay for mistakes of bureaucrats & other social parasites.

Our entire family have thrown in all we have (& sometimes things we don't have) to fend off these parasitic attacks.  What there is to give, however, often comes too close to the margins to allow for much peace of mind or respite from the struggle.  The rank & sometimes openly aknowledged injustice only adds further insult upon injury!

My brother has always been my best friend & held my greatest respect of anyone in my entire family.  He's an honest, hard-working & devoted parent who's been far more often punished for these virtues than rewarded, & he could really use a break from taking so many hits simply to protect his son's childhood experience.

Please, help them get at least a solid foothold on a better life!
