Do you like Volvos? Rallying? Old cars with loud exhausts? or how about just supporting an amazing cause? Then now is your chance!
In preparation for the Targa Newfoundland Rally 2016 next year, we are getting a 1970 Volvo 144S Sedan fully prepared to enter in the Historic Targa Class.
We are a father and son team with over 20 years competitive driving experience, and 30 years co-driving/navigational experience. The Targa Newfoundland has long been a dream of ours to enter, as it is one of the iconical motorsport events in not only Canada, but North America. With your help, we want to show the world that a historic Volvo can not only be competitive and stir the soul and emotions of those watching.
As most will know, preparing a vehicle for an event such as this, and then transporting it from Vancouver B.C. to Newfoundland (and back!) is not a cheap undertaking. Hence, we are looking for any and all help in this.
However, we would like to give something back as well, so we will be offering some "incentive" packages! These will include such things as signed photos of the car in the event, local rides in the car at Mission Speedway in B.C., or if donating as a company or individual for a larger sum, your name/logo on the car for not only this event, but for an entire racing season.
