Nth Gallery 18th Annual Fundraiser

For eighteen years now, the Nth˚ Gallery & Studios has upheld its mission to provide art for art’s sake and to promote up-and-coming local talent around the High Country.
Over the course of roughly 200 shows, we’ve provided nearly 1,000 artists with the opportunity to showcase their work. From student shows to group collaborations, and from invitationals to professional solo exhibitions, many of these artists have displayed their first shows here, while experienced artists have used our space to display their explorations in new materials and processes.
If you've been to the Nth˚, you might be aware of how this unique, underground-on-the-second-floor art venue functions. The seven resident studio members (Brian, Jamie, Tommy, Sarah, Gena, Tyler and Nick) pay for rent from their own pockets for the space, and then pitch in their time to host shows for local artists. Funds for things like paint for the walls, tools, nails and screws, and toilet paper, as well as for our water and power bills, comes from the pockets of the studio members, and from the generosity of our supporters.
Our operating budget is miniscule compared to a profit gallery. This year, we calculated that we will need $1,500 to keep the lights on and the Nth˚ functioning.
To keep up with the changing times, we have added an online component to our annual fundraiser. We'd much rather you join us at our birthday celebration on Friday, September 4, 2015, but if you can't, we appreciate whatever you can give, no matter how small.
