Abita Springs Friends of the Park is a non-profit 501 c3 citizen run orginazation founded in 2007. With the intent of identifying, funding and implementing green space improvements in Town of Abita Springs and providing healthful acivities and cultural programs that collectively enrich the lives of the community.
A part of this effort was to build a playground for our community. We have constructed a wonderful playground that can be viewed on our website www.abitapark.com. Unfortunately, we have yet to complete one of the nost important aspects...the handicap access trail.
So far, we have raised $30,000 of the $50,000 needed. Friends of the Park has been working on this for several years now and would like your help to finally get this done so all of our children can enjoy our wonderful playground!
