In short……Absolute gentleman sells all possessions, puts his life on hold to look after his terminally ill Mother but now faces being homeless despite his own deteriorating physical condition.

Please Read On…..

I am a citizen of the UK but have a very good friend who I have never met in person but have exchanged hundreds of skype conversations and emails etc. He is an American, born & bred and is in serious need of some assistance.

We met online through our shared interests in carpentry & motorcycles. As our conversations have developed over the years (5) we pretty much know everything about each other’s lives.

Without revealing deeply personal stories please believe that Chris has been an absolute gentleman his whole life, with sound moral fibre, integrity & unwavering work ethic.

His outstanding kind nature and genuine interest in his fellow Americans has been evident throughout his life and he has continuously been charitable both financially and with a huge commitment of time in the pursuit of helping others. I have seen the evidence of his life of giving to and helping others.

His inherent kindness has been betrayed with a couple of relationships. Which in years gone by left him penniless. However, each time he has not been one bit bitter and managed to get back on his feet and carry on without any reliance on welfare benefits or any other means of assistance.

More recently however, he had to give up his job and sold his own possessions, truck, tools (even beloved Harley) to help finance what he thought would be a short period of time to help his mother recover from a broken back after losing his dad just months prior. This was just the beginning, as his mother went on to de diagnosed with terminal cancer.

Initially he coped with her care but then a recurrence of a serious lifelong back injury (which forced him out of his construction business in 2007) and his mother’s increased medical needs left no option but to have his mother cared for professionally in a nursing home. His parent’s home is at present going through the sale process in order to pay her outstanding and continued medical bills and care. The sale will complete in roughly 3 weeks time at which point he will be homeless, jobless and crippled with nobody to turn to. His own physical condition is presently very precarious and with no means of supporting himself, I now truly fear for him.

He is in New Jersey were the temperatures are well below freezing at present, which I do not think he will be able to survive without some form of shelter and money. He currently and for many months exists on 1 meal every other day consisting of a potato, banana and some bread when he can.

He is in a desperate situation and being used to giving and not receiving his entire life, is rather stubborn in asking for help. Therefore, I have decided to do this for him as a last resort and without his consent, which I hope he will at some point understand if he survives all this. When the house sells, he’ll be living in his mother’s car (Durango) he intends to take over.

Please help me to raise sufficient funds to buy him a pop – up camping trailer or perhaps rent a small apartment close to his mum for him to shelter in and a few months worth of food to at least give him some chance of surviving this mess and try in some way to get back on his feet.

I know Chris and I know he’ll not use one penny more than needed for himself to get out of this. He’d more than likely go right back to helping others once he does.

Despite his current condition I know he will do any work if offered within his limited physical capabilities. He is a very intelligent man, with a multitude of skills which would be an asset to any company.

Would like to point out I do  not have Facebook but I will add Chris's facebook account once I have told him about this campaign. Thanks All Stu
