Homeless, but not Hopeless

Jackson is 11. On Father's Day (6/21/2015), he saw a YouTube video of someone giving a homeless man a lottery ticket for $1,000. This wonderful gift to a total stranger impacted Jackson in a huge way.
He was emotional while talking to me about the video and insisted I watch it too.
"I'm so blessed, mom. I think everyone deserves a second chance. Someone just has to care enough."
The very next day, Jackson organized a brainstorming meeting with a few of his neighborhood friends and his sister, Josie.
They decided a lemonade stand on the Fourth of July would be a great way to raise money and present all of it to one person.
I offered the suggestion of going through an organization, but Jackson insisted that he would like the funds to all go to one person from him and his team. He said that it's more personal. I honor that.
So you're invited to attend in person or
