No Suffolk Casino!

PLEASE DONATE to our legal fund to stop the Suffolk Casino in Islandia.
NO CASINO, NO VLTs in ISLANDIA! Residents of the Village of ISLANDIA and surrounding communities are saying NO to the politicians! NO to Suffolk OTB! Please consider donating to our cause! Suffolk OTB and a gaming conglomerate, Delaware North, some time ago entered into an agreement to locate and operate a casino on Long Island. After a number of failed attempts elsewhere they found Islandia, a small village with a Mayor who is easy to control.
Incredibly only two votes were required to allow this Casino in Islandia, a county planning commission vote, and an Islandia village special permit vote. Both have passed. There are no more votes to be conducted. Unfortunately, the only remaining recourse is in the courts - this takes money.
A group of community members from throughout Suffolk County have banded together - Concerned Citizens of Suffolk County. We donate our time and money for the cause but it's not enough. We need YOU to help. Attorneys cost money and 100% of the money we receive goes directly to fighting a casino. To file a lawsuit a lot of research by attorneys is required. The first hurdler to file is $10,000, the ultimate fight in the courts is $100,000. That's just $100 from 1,000 residents. But it doesn't happen and this casino doesn't get stopped without YOUR help. There is no place for a casino on Long Island. Please donate now.
