Hello, my name is Lisa Fausneaucht. I am 30 years old and currently live in Vancouver, WA. I spend most of my days running my business, being a mommy, and empowering other women. My biggest dream in life is to impact others in a positive way. My passion is to empower women to love themselves so much that that positivity will then empower other women to do the same thing.

When I was 23, I was diagnosed with arthritis and fibromyalgia. I was put on high doses of pain medication and experimental medication as well. As my arthritis got worse, so did my health. I went into liver failure too many times to count. I was hospitalized for numerous stomach problem all stemming from the amount of narcotics I was given. I was addicted. It was bad and I needed help. I became depressed, suicidal, and cried myself to sleep every night for two years. I was in the deepest, darkest hole and the only person who could get me out was myself. November 16, 2011 I forced myself to go to a rehabilitation center and checked myself in. I went through a horrible detox that made me realize the strength of the human body and what we can withstand. With their help, I was able to get off all of my medication, everything! During my time in rehab, one of the most important things I learned was self-care. I learned that it wasn't SELFISH-- it was NECESSARY!

Over the next year, I embraced my new self. I accepted my past and knew I would never go back. My husband and I moved twice in that year and although we had stresses, we communicated and loved on each other like we knew that this was our second chance at life and we were not going to let this go. We both delve into a recovery program called Celebrate Recovery and got involved. We started attending church on a regular basis and I got back into leading High School girls bible study groups. Steve would help out on Sunday mornings flipping pancakes for the students and was such a great leader. We were doing this together; we were choosing joy... TOGETHER!

Since deciding to get healthy, I have channeled my energies into what a healthy life really looks like. I jumped in feet first and become an independent Beachbody coach. Now, I own my own business and daily I help people find the motivation and drive to become healthy and fit. I run challenge groups monthly and have helped my friends and family lose over 350 pounds combined. I myself have lost 53 pounds and have goals of losing even more. I now have placed so many things in my life to make sure that I never feel like ending my own life. I live for God, I live for my family, I live for my friends, and I want to live to change the world and the community around me. No one should ever feel how I did, no one. My goal is to spread awareness to other men and women about numbing our pain and give practical solutions to help those struggling. I have partnered with Lifeline Connections to continue to speak to recovery patients. I truly have a desire to see everyone whole and healthy-- I now see that it is the ONLY way to live.

Becoming Mrs. Washington would provide me with a larger platform so that I can continue to spread the message about medication abuse and truly impact more people. This life is short and my passions and dreams are just too big to give up, will you support me?
