Hi! I have found the rescue I plan on getting my service dog in training from and the trainer I plan on working with! You can find both links here!

Hi! My name is Maddy! I'm 21 years old and I am diagnosed with bipolar 2 disorder and general anxiety disorder. I've had a hard time coping recently and have been trying to find the right balance of medication to help me feel stable.
The one thing I have found that really helps are my animals. Recently I've been meaning to move out of the Perris area so that I can be in an apartment where I can have animals (my roommate is severely allergic) so that I can adopt a puppy and train him/her to be a full psychiatric service dog.
In order to do so, I need to raise a starting fund of $500 to help with moving out fees and paying for the fees for the pup.
After raising $500, me and my boyfriend can start finding a new apartment to live in and after a month of settling into the new place I will be looking for my new service dog prospect.
The dog will be trained to aid in my anxiety and depression by doing tasks to disrupt spiraling behavior. This includes when I show signs I'm showing stress (hunched over hands on face) etc. The dog will help me break out of my "zone" of getting lost in my thoughts by doing a physical task (TBA) to disrupt it. I also plan on having him / her do crowd control around me and help with balance.
As of right now, without my service dog and without my ESA who lives at my mother's house, it has been increasingly more difficult to deal with my depression episodes. If you can help me in getting my service dog, my boyfriend and I would be super appreciative of your support. Thank you!
