For those who do not know me already, Hello there!
I am Tori Sizemore, a 20 year old sophmore studying Public Relations at Anderson University.
I am the oldest of seven kids, an avid tea drinker, and the newly crowned Miss Midlands 2015!
This summer, I am pursuing the title of Miss South Carolina.
My goals for this endevor are both short and long term; to “run the race in such a way that you may win.” Winning looks different to everyone. In my case, it means having experiences now that will be powerful in the future. This program provides me an opportunity of a lifetime; developing skills and character, earning scholarships, and establishing connections with the non-profits I intend to work for in my career.
During this year, I am focusing specifically on an issue that has always been close to my heart. The adoption of my three little sisters opened my eyes to the situation thousands of children experience. From the time I was 17 years old, I advocated for Adoption by sharing my family's story, with the goal of helping children and families create a Forever Home. Three years later, I've realized I want to be much more personally involved in the lives of foster children Until They Are Home.
However, that is not the only cause I want to further. During this time, I aim to raise as much money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals as possible.
Any donation you make will go directly to your regional CMN hospital to help serve the families in your own community, wherever you are in the country! By going to my Miss America donation page you can donate directly online to become part of the solution!
The funds raised here will be divided between service projects, Children's Miricale Network, appearence costs and competition preperation.
I so strongly believe in the ideals this organization represents and my desire to fulfill those duties that I can confidently come to you with this request to help me make a difference!
