My Name is Ethan Crooms, just call me Taylor and I'm the Technical Director at New Elim Baptist Church, which this campaign is about. God has blessed us with the opportunity, now all we need to do is take action!!!
Who We Are:

Our team is committed to communicate and broadcast God's word clearly around the world. We have tremendous plans and know that God has formed this team for a reason.
During a normal service right now we have one on sound, one on cameras, and one on presentation. Currently we are recording services then putting it on our Youtube page. Please subscribe to stay updated with our campaign. A promo video will be coming soon.
What We Believe:
The technical Ministry at New Elim Baptist Church or "New Elim Media" for short believes that God is on the throne, and loves each and every one of us. That in mind our Mission Statement is as follows:
"New Elim Media is to clearly articulate God's Love and Holy word to a lost and dying world through digital and analog technology"
"New Elim Media" is a new ministry at our church and our purpose is to put church services and events outside the doors to the lost and dying world through various sources of technology. Which includes live streaming services in several different mediums.
Digital technology has the capability of reaching the masses much faster than from knocking door-to-door ever will. Door-to-door visits are still a great way to witness and communicate events at a church locally. But, we can plant a seed on someone surfing YouTube or scrolling through their Facebook wall.
What Is Being Expanded:
We are turning an old music room that right now as I type is filled with nothing but old music equipment into a control room. Our first update via facebook has this room posted as it is currently.
This control room will house an audio board that will be controlling monitors on stage, recording and mixing the church services and other events, while broadcasting audio live to Mixlr.
This is done in order to not disturb ones worship because of loudness on stage. We are also going to convert to in-ear monitors and only use stage wedges for guest performers. There will be a stage display installed at the back of the sanctuary in order for the praise team to save trees and go green. Yaay it rhymed!!! Also two new computers will be installed. One for Pro Presenter(presentation software)and one for our live recording computer(which will run Pro Tools & Presonus Capture 2).
In order to make this happen, It takes a lot of fundage which our regular budget doesn't allow for. I have prayed and God has answered me to start this campaign so we can preach and teach outside the walls of New Elim Baptist Church.
We also will be creating sermon videos and pastor one minute devotional videos to help our congregation and the outside world stay in or be introduced to God's word.
How we are we going to do it?:
New Elim Media is a firm believer in "faith without action is nothing". This campaign page is just a kick-off of our fundraiser for this project. We have other fundraisers that are being planned into action. Just to name a few is a benefit sing, bingo friday nights, yard sales, ebay electronic sales, and much more. We also believe that stale potato chips are nasty so we aren't going to become stale, and just sit on our talents, and do the same thing each and every day. I have a quote that I came up with, "Talent never stops expanding". God wants us to use what He gave us, but then continue to learn more and more of our talent so we can't come up with the excuse of "I don't know how" to stop serving God.
