Knockout Paralysis with Jessika

December 14th, 2012 was the day my life would change forever. I went into surgery to remove a lipoma tumor from my spine as an able-bodied individual and woke up from surgery a paraplegic. I quickly learned that this journey would be the most difficult thing I would ever face. 

I am a fighter and I am fighting for a better quality of life. With my determined spirit, I believe I will walk again one day and live a life without limitations. 

This fund will go towards funding an intense rehabilitation program at NeuroFit 360 in Pembroke Pines. Insurance does not cover the costs of rehabilitation and each visit to NeuroFit 360 is $115/hour. I have seen immense improvements thus far that I would not achieve anywhere else. 

I believe this intense rehabilitation is what I need to strengthen my core, upper body and legs. All of which I need in order to relearn how to walk again. Thank you so much for all your help! May God bless you!
