Wolf Nequa - Medical Help

Nequa, one of our majestic timber wolves, has developed a serious lung infection and needs rest, medication and veterinary care that is expensive.  Nequa is positive for Blastomycosis, a very severe fungal infection. He will need to take a drug called itraconazole (sporonox) for 3 to 6 months. Also, Nequa has been pulled from his pack as he needs daily medication and monitoring.  We cannot have him apart from them for 3 months as they might not accept him back. We will have to build a smaller enclosure next to them so they will continue to have visual contact and close interaction.  We are hoping that the many friends of Nequa and Bear Creek Exotic Wildlife Sanctuary can come together and raise the funds required to bring this handsome boy back to good health.
