Nepal Needs Nac Now

We are heartbroken by the devastating 7.8 magnitude earthquake that left Nepal in ruins last Saturday, the 25th of April. Our Nacogdoches Nepali community and supportive individuals are working tirelessly to raise awareness about the level of destruction that faces Nepal. Nearly 5,000 people have lost their lives, and almost 9,000 people have been injured. Millions of people have lost their homes and been forced to live under the open sky with no access to basic supplies like food, water,and medical needs. Search and rescue missions have yet to reach many rural areas. With the help of the Stephen F. Austin State University Office of Multicultural Affairs, Office of International Programs, and International Student Association, we would like to raise funds for those affected by the earthquakes. All of the donations will go directly to the Nepalese earthquake victims through the United States fund for UNICEF.

Your generous support will help more than 8 million Nepalese, 1 million  of whom are children, survive and recuperate from the trauma of this unimaginable tragedy.
