Orphans in Nepal Need Your Help

In the aftermath of the devastating earthquakes in Nepal last year, there are still many people that desperately need your help.
Some orphans remain in remote areas that have been neglected because travel there is still very difficult as many roads remain unrepaired. They have an immediate need for tents since their homes have not yet been rebuilt.
In the video you will meet children who were physically and emotionally impacted by the earthquakes but in the first phase of funding have had their home rebuilt, even stronger than before.
My brother Clint has been visiting this orphan home for about 6 years with the Dr Pankaj Naram Seva Foundation. Only days ago 15 of us (including some of our kids their ages) returned from meeting these children who we had helped by raising money to rebuild their orphanage. We were embraced by the pure love and appreciation they gave for even the smallest kindness, and in connecting with their hearts, we realized how much our lives were blessed, and how much more help they still require.

They are now in need of:
- solar panels and solar power generator (with the infrastructure in Nepal still in shambles, and a big gas crises, there are frequent power outages, which make it hard for them to study, and also becomes a sanitation issue if their water pumps stop)
- school uniforms (required in Nepal)
- shoes and socks (many had socks with holes in them, and barely fit into shoes that were falling apart)
- school fees
- school books, bags, supplies, and more.
Lastly, on our trip we met with many displaced families who remain homeless, so many months after the earthquake. They need tents. Now they are sleeping in structures made of cardboard and plastic sheets. We had over a hundred tents donated from China, and we now need help with final costs of transporting them to the families. Believe it or not, until now they have received very little help from anyone. They have started to feel forgotten as they continue to pray for relief.
100% of the money we receive from your generous donations will go directly to help these families and children. All administrative expenses are privately paid by the people who volunteer.

The children in the orphanage and these homeless families don't take anything for granted. They treasure every effort on their behalf.
