We are trying to raise funds for victims here in Nepal who are suffering the consequences of 7.8 magnitude earthquake that rocked Kathmandu and the entire nation on April 25th 2015 followed by 101 aftershocks of 4 rector scale and above. We have number of death toll cross 5000 and more than 9000 people injured but the worst part is we are still scrambling to save thousands of people who remain buried under rubble. Nepal is now in the state of emergency losing its complete focus on political stability and its development.
Although Nepal is receiving funds and humanitarian ads from number of nations around the globe but due to lack of management those supports are still miles away from the reach. In this chaotic situation we have no other option but to personally approach and request donors to fill our basket as in this way the entire fund received can be right away channelized to the victims. Hence, we the people of Nepal who are among the victims are now trying to raise funds and provide our own people their necessities from your personal aid.
Current Situation of Victims
Since Saturday April 25th 2015 people of Nepal has experienced more than hundreds of aftershocks and due to fear people of capital and in other parts of country are living outdoors under open sky. Earthquake victims are still struggling for basic needs like tents, clean water, hygienic foods and above of all there is a high risk of outburst of communicable infectious diseases.
In this chaotic moment Nepalese people are sadden due to loss of cultural heritages, ancient monuments and historic temples. At the same time Nepalese are equally showing their frustrations to Nepal government and administrations due to delay in support.
What we do with your Fund?
We are not affiliated with government bodies of Nepal and we are not unions or charity organization receiving funds from any reputed international organization rather we are the victims who have experienced chaos in the past 5 days. We have been there in the street, we have seen people dying due to lack of proper medical treatments and we have also seen humanitarian aids “a sack of rice and a dozen of noodles” for more than a hundred people living outdoor together.
Hence, finding no other ways to keep up the hope of survival we ourselves are now collecting donations via www.gofundme.com through our friends, colleagues and personal links so that received donations may reach and fulfill emergency needs of victims without a minute delay.
