From your Heart to Tamara's Time

We are reaching out to you today to help support one of our own Prince George residents.
Tamara Kobylka, Tamara is a single mother of two young beautiful daughters; Phoenix who will be 16 in July and Jordan who is 13, Tamara has been fighting cervical cancer over the past few years, she has had radiation and very unfortunately the cancer has now spread to her lymph nodes and made its way into her spleen and now her liver, these two organs are important for filtering blood to the rest of your body and are now both affected. Tamara does not qualify for surgery as the cancer is in too many locations, the doctors have put her on chemotherapy indefinitely to slow down the cancer's progression.
Tamara is working full time to support her daughters; she would like to apply for long term disability so that she can make the most out of her precious time with her daughters. Long term disability has a 4 month waiting period that she has to go through before she can qualify; this is not something that is possible for Tamara as she needs to work to support her family.
Tamara is very active in our community she volunteers to support the many events that Prince George hosts such as trade shows, fairs and the most recent the Canada Winter Games, Tamara is also signed up to volunteer for the upcoming Fan Fair, Let’s give back to Tamara! Please help support her and her two daughters during this time in her life; this will give her the opportunity to have peace of mind.
If everyone in Prince George donates just $1 just imagine what that could do for Tamara and her daughters! We have set a very modest goal of $20,000.00 through; “GO FUND ME” please help us meet the goal or even exceed it!
