recording studio and office

Debi Wahl started Act 1 Productions , a traveling family-based theater, in 1999 with no collaterol.  It was cash for shows, paying actors every week, employing them as independent contractors and doing a lot of gratis shows for churches, children's groups and charities.  Today we are still going strong.  We have built up a nice group of solid venues.  We work on four trains in a three state area and on a paddlewheel boat, as well as restaurants and private groups.  We still offer gratis work for charities that we feel are so important to the community.  But Debi has never taken a paycheck.  All money goes back into the cost for actors, props, expenses and to keep the company solvent.  It is time to move into an office that is not in the home.  We would love to be able to get something that is a fixer upper, so that we can add a music studio to do recording for shows, as well as a room that could be set up for videoing shows to give perspective clients a looksee.  We are shooting for a big win here.  The picture we used is one of our actors doing a Great Train Robbery

in Lancaster, PA.  The real money donated during the shows is always donated to local children's charities.  That's why we feel Act 1 Productions , in giving back to the community and providing work for others, should have a shot at expansion.  Thanks!!!
