Bakery/Cafe Growing Pains..

Hi Everyone!
Nancys Place is a small cozy Bakery/Cafe located in Poultney Vt. A lovely college town and historic location. I started as The Station here in Poultney in a much larger historic space and started building a wonderful little bakery business. I concentrated on using my family collection of old recipes and specialty breads. I had a soft spot for the college students and the people who live here and supported me.
Unfortunately the building was sold and I was ready to go find a job when some local, older women, came in with a cookie jar full of money and said "we don't want you to leave". I was moved to my very soul by this outpouring. I didn't have a building or a piece of equipment and only 3 weeks to vacate.
Green Mountain college students and local people and businesses came together and helped me find a space and donated equipment and labor to help me open in a short turnaround of about 3 weeks...a labor of love!
I am so appreciative of all of the equipment, most of my refrigeration units are over 20 years old and taking a big hit with all the usage and the humid weather we are having.
I unplugged my display refrigeration unit when I put a thermometer in front of it and it was blowing 80 degrees- heat I couldn't have pouring into the dining area - a month later I found my electric bill almost $100 less. What would it be if I had new refrigeration all around? My deli fridge is a Montgomery Ward!! And that is where I am in need. I need to purchase new - energy efficient refrigeration.
The immediate need is a new deli refrigerator, this will run in the under $200 range. I have to defrost daily to keep it running. A new countertop, glass front unit for items like cheesecake and cream puffs runs to the $400 range. Then I would replace the main refrigerator and freezer....This is where I need your help.
I so appreciate everything so MANY people have done to keep me going.. I fully realize that I am here everyday because of YOU! Thank you for getting me this far.
