Hi, I'm Nancy Love, writer and photographer, fine artist and animal rescuer in Los Angeles, California. Please see www.nancylove.net and www.lovekinfoundation.com.
I am in very urgent need. I have had significant life-threatening health issues and resultant financial challenges. In all this, however, I have not lost my goal of starting a non-profit dedicated to making the world a better place--it's called The Planet Peace Project.
The Planet Peace Project will include:
Education--We need an educational program for everyone from kindergarteners to college students that teaches the art of negotiation, mediation and peaceful personhood. Peace between countries starts with peace between individuals!
Mediation--I hope to offer FREE mediation services world-wide to nations or factions within nations that are ready to talk through their problems rather than fight over them.
Celebration--There will be annual festivals including art, music, dance, theater, and film--plus lots of displays from other groups that promote peace, environmental protection, human rights/children's rights/animal rights and more. There will be world-touring shows of children's art to promote peace, ecology and advocacy.
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
I need donations immediately to secure a safe, stable environment for myself and my six beloved great rescue cats. I have been ill, have moved too many times to count, and all of this has resulted in a financial hardship of mega-proportions. PLEASE HELP US RIGHT NOW.
What your contribution will achieve:
HOME--I will establish a residence and kitty sanctuary in Los Angeles. I do fostering of animals and can help many others if you help me now. THIS IS A PROFOUNDLY URGENT SITUATION.
TRANSPORT--I need to maintain and register my car--it is industrial strength but needs help. It is critical for rescue work and daily survival.
NON-PROFIT STATUS--I will learn all the hubbub I need to learn to run this organization globally, and file for formal non-profit status in the state of California.
TIME--With additional funds I will take the time to launch a comprehensive fund development campaign for The Planet Peace Project, submit grant applications to foundations, gather celebrity endorsements and start a public relations campaign.
I will establish a board of directors and gather the talent--artists and musicians and filmmakers, attorneys and investors and mediators, all the great souls who will help get this heart-full project out of the realm of great ideas and INTO THE WORLD WHERE IT CAN DO SO MUCH GOOD.
THE PLANET PEACE CREDO:
MAY WE RISE TO THE CALL OF OUR DUTY NOT ONLY TO OUR COUNTRIES BUT ALSO TO OUR WORLD.
