Emily's Birthday Wish

When I was in school, my oldest brother, Ethan, and I, had our own clubs and activities that we participated in that got us out into the community and involved within our school system. Special Olympics was my other brother's, Skyler's, thing where he'd be able to interact with others outside of school and feel welcomed in the community. That was his "thing," that thing he was identified as something he enjoyed doing, that thing that allowed Ethan and my parents and I to cheer HIM on.
On Wednesday, March 4, I'll be turning 20, and I wanted to do something special for it since I won't be in the "teens" anymore. So, with that, I'd like to fundraise $304 (as in 3/04 - March 4) for the Montana Special Olympics Program! Having a special needs brother, I'm forever grateful for organizations like Special Olympics that allow individuals on various levels to compete and be involved on a community level.
On Wednesday, March 11, Rocky Mountain College will be having a Pledge Day for Spread the Word to End the Word in the Student Union Building on campus. I'd love it so much if I could present them with $304 in person while hosting an event in collaboration with Region 2 Montana Special Olympics and Montana Special Olympics.
If you are able to donate $10, or even $1, I'd deeply appreciate it, and so will Montana Special Olympics! If you're thinking about getting me an actually birthday present, please put that money toward the "Emily's Birthday Wish" fundraiser instead. Please, if you are able, help me make my birthday wish come true!
