RoboZilla Stolen Robot Fund

We are FIRST Tech Challenge Team #7555 - RoboZilla, a community robotics team from Riverside, California.
On February 21, 2015 we qualified to compete in the San Diego Regional FIRST Tech Challenge Championship where we were honored with the Connect Award. We also are the first alternate team to attend the next level of competition, Super Regionals in Oakland, California, should any other qualifying team not be able to attend.
To our dismay, our robot, laptop, and field control system were stolen from our team vehicle as we were receiving our awards and recognitions during the Awards Ceremony.
We are asking for help from the community to fund our efforts to rebuild our robot. Our robot means much more to us than just a tool for competition. RoboZilla uses it as a tool to promote awareness about FIRST and STEM programs. Some of our outreach efforts in the past include running a SMaRT Education Summer Camp held at Vocademy in Riverside, teaching an afterschool engineering club about small machines at The Packinghouse Academy in Redlands, and volunteering at the STEP Conference at Bourns Engineering in Riverside.
We are a small team with very little resources to recoup the loss incurred. We fundraised and saved funds throughout the summer in order to participate in this program. We passionately desire to continue our community outreach and any other competition opportunities that might come our way. The smallest amount of help will go a long way.
We sincerely thank you for your time and consideration!
