Greetings Everyone! 

We, the Caballero family, believe we have been called to provide a loving adoptive family for special-needs children. 

We currently have two adoptive special-needs daughters, who are a never-ending source of delight to us.  We are truly blessed with their presence in our lives.  Recently, we became aware, through “World Association for Children And Parents,” of sixteen-year-old “Holly”, a beautiful young lady with multiple congenital medical issues.  Holly grew up in an Asian Orphanage until she was 13. 

She has already had one placement in the U.S., but because of unforeseen circumstances, she needs a new home.   

Our family already is a licensed for foster-to-adopt placement(s), so we have cleared a major hurdle in bringing Holly to us.  The last remaining obstacle to bringing Holly home to us are the paperwork processing fees for WACAP and the cost of transporting Holly from her current placement in the Western U.S. to our home in Michigan. 


Our day-to-day expenses (and unforeseen hardships with extended family) leave us very little in the way of savings, or even an emergency fund, so these costs, which may seem small to others, are beyond us. 

We are so looking forward to welcoming into our home, this young lady, who had such a terrible start in life and who continually, faces new challenges every day. 

Will you please help us?    Why?
1.  Family Hardships in past year.  Paying for some extended family needs.  
2.  Not foster care.  We expected Foster to Adopt and were not prepared to  hear attorney fees.  We also need a different type of home study and home supervision fees for older child.  

Our hope is to help just one more of God’s children become the person He intended her to be.  Our family is the place where she can reach her fullest potential as a dignified young adult.

3/3/15 Meeting with Social worker scheduled for tomorrow!  So excited.  hoping for the best news but prepared for the worst.  All in God's Hands now.

2/27/15  Update:  We are the family adopting this child after careful consideration We got so attached to the situation and fell in love.  Please help US raise money for attorney fees and SSW and home studies.
