KSSEF Winner to International Fair

Funding is needed to send the top two winning projects from the 2015 Kansas State Science and Engineering Fair to the 2015 International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Kansas students are bright, creative individuals who excell at STEM projects, and deserve to be rewarded for their efforts. Please help send these deserving students to ISEF.

The Kansas State Science and Engineering Fair was founded in 2008.  Prior to that date there never had been a state science and engineering fair in Kansas. 

The Kansas State Science and Engineering Fair competition involves students in dynamic scientific investigations. The participating students gain perspective of the world through science and engineering, and will develop STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) skills necessary to persist in today’s society.  This venue provides students with experience in critical thinking , leadership, and creative problem solving.

The volunteers who serve on the board of directors for the fair, seek yearly, to secure funding for the operations.  Several years ago we lost our large corporate sponsor.  We have since diversified our solicitations and efforts.  Due to the economy we are finding it difficult to secure funding.
