My name is Terri Rosenthal and I am writing this on behalf of the Harper Family and an amazing Friend, Husband, Father, and MAN!
Mr. Troy Harper is my School Aide at Betsy Rhodes Elementary School. His two boys, Devon and Cale, who also attend Rhodes ES are just as special as he is. Troy is a friend to all and a mentor to all of our kids. His everyday interactions show people how much he cares for staff, students, and our community-he drives an hour to and from work, gets two boys ready in the morning, does not make the best wage, has been a single parent for the last 9 months, all while showing up to work with a fresh smile and never complaining.
Last summer, Shannon Harper, Troy's wife was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre. Life has been so hard for Troy, the boys, and his family. Shannon's mother as been an amazing mother-in-law and grandmother to the boys during this difficult time, even taking in Shannon to help care for her.
Nine long months of trying to re-hab back to health has not gone as planned, Shannon's liver has failed and she is terminal.
Troy has done so much for us, his family, and his community with support, laughter, smiles and showing he cares, we would like to give this back.
Help us support our family member.
