Fort Dodge Fire Chief Kent Hulett told the paper that one adult female, an infant and toddler were killed in the blaze.
The Fort Dodge Press reports that the fire broke out shortly after 12:30 p.m. Sunday at 703 Fourth Ave. North in Fort Dodge.
Two adults and two children were sent to the hospital to be treated for burns.
The house was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived and strong winds made the fire difficult to fight.
