Hi, My name is Luis Sanchez, I am the founder of MyWSports, a multimedia women’s sports network with 10 women’s professional league partners. We help improve and increase the media coverage given to women’s professional and collegiate athletes in over 20 sports. Women athletes are actually covered less in the media now than they were in 1989. In 2014, only 3.2% of network television coverage was given to women’s sports; ESPN’s SportsCenter only gave women 2% of coverage. Our goal is to inspire change and support the growth of women’s sports by fusing the multi-billion dollar sports industry market with the multi-billion dollar media market. What makes us so unique is our partnership with over ten professional women’s leagues as well as many collegiate women’s athletic programs. We want to change the way women athletes are portrayed in the media and in society, and we are looking to become the first 24/7 women’s sports network. Let’s grow the games together!
