Stepping Out Charity Gig

Stepping Out is a Yeovil based youth led music band. The aims of the band are; 
- To challenge negative attitudes towards mental health with music.
- To raise awareness of and tackle discrimination.
- To write and perform original songs about personal experiences with mental health.
- To inspire others to achieve their ambitions.
- To provide opportunities for others to play music.
- To help others in the local community.

On Sunday 23rd August we hosted our second charity fundraising event; Music Matters 2015, at Yeovil Labour Club. We nominated 2 local based charities to raise money for; The Hub; a charity that through micro-enterprise and community projects provides social, domestic & business skills for young adults with learning difficulties or disabilities, and Yeovil, Sherborne & District Samaritans, a charity that aims to offer 24/7 365 days a year of support for anyone who requires it in a confident, non judgemental and supportive manner.

We have already raised an incredible amount so far, but we will still welcome further donations until the end of SUNDAY 6th SEPTEMBER, when we will count up our final amount. We would massively appreciate any small amount of money you choose to donate towards the event, supporting our 2 nominated charities. Whilst the target set is £300, any amount above or below this figure will be gratefully appreciated. Thank you so much for supporting our cause!
