Muncie, IN Veterans Stand Down 2015

Tax deductible
The Muncie Stand Down for Homeless Veterans was begun to serve veterans in need in our area.  It provides such personal services as dental care and barbering.
VA personnel is on site to give assistance and advice.  Hygiene bags, carry bags and clothing are collected by the DAR and Colonial Dames, 17th Century, chapters.

The Paul Revere Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, Indiana, has a fund to provide such items as new underwear, bus passes, phone cards and food items, in addition to special needs.  The food stand always runs out and more food is needed.  Increased competition for grants means we must seek alternate funds.

The Paul Revere chapter maintains a Stand Down fund as a separate entity, paying invoices for specific goods and services.

Many additional community organizations and volunteers join together to organize and work in this day of service for our Veterans.

This event will be on Friday, Sept. 25, 2015 at the Muncie Mission, Muncie, IN.
