Bailey Jo Woolsey, Morgan, the daughter of Jared and Lisa Woolsey, is the new Miss Rodeo Utah. Bailey won the title in front of a sold-out crowd on July 24, 2014 at Ogden Pioneer Stadium, the home of Ogden Pioneer Days. She is a graduate of Morgan High School and has attended Colorado Northwestern College. She is now a student at Weber State University, studying communications and political science. “As Miss Rodeo Utah, I will share the values rodeo exemplifies with individuals from all walks for life," she said. "For this is not only my lifestyle, but the legacy of the American cowboy, a legacy where families can compete together and become champions, not only in the arena, but in the lives of each other.”

Why do you want to be Miss Rodeo Utah: “As a third-generation cowgirl and granddaughter of a hard-working cattle rancher, I have been instilled with a strong western heritage and legacy my ancestors would be proud of. My heritage is rich with the values and ideals of a western way of life. The western way of life is a place where, within our dreams and aspirations, we find some of our greatest opportunities. I believe it is vital to keep alive this western heritage and American spirit that rodeo exhibits, while the sport continues to grow to greater heights. As Miss Rodeo Utah, I would share the values rodeo exemplifies with individuals from all walks for life.
