Who I am:
I graduated with honors from the University of North Texas in 2009 with a Bachelors of Arts degree in English - Creative Writing. I was the vice president of the English Honors Society, recieved a fellowship research grant through the English department, and interned with the faculty run literary journal.

In 2000 I won the Nanashi award for Best Romance and in 2014 won the Holmsie award for Best Characterization.  I have an international fanbase, my derivative fan works are available in several languages including Chinese, Russian, and French, and have been writing for over fifteen years.

About the book:
The main difference between fiction and LGBT fiction is the narritive imperitive to justify everything against the heteronormative standard. What I wanted to do with this novel series, more than anything, was write a complex, thought provoking story that wasn't told from a heteronormative perspective or in fact acknowledged its existance. While the novel is about murder and mystery on a mining vessel in deep space, the relationships within it are not defined in matters of gender or sexuality not because everyone is assumed straight unless otherwise stated but because it holds zero importance. No justification is given and none is asked for, granting all relationships the same inherent legitimacy as comes standard in mainstream stories that follow straight, heterosexual characters.

And who better to bring attention to that undocumented fact than two characters renouned for both unparelled observation and an ambiguious relationship: Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson.

Synopsis:
"After being convicted of the murder of Sherlock Holmes, Dr. John Watson is sentenced to confinement, therapy, and to the constant companionship of a hologram of his victim to aid in his rehabilitation. While John remains uncertain of his guilt, Sherlock is only too happy to engage in the mystery of his own murder to try and discover why he died and how events set his path to cross with the war ravaged stranger he's now posthumously bound to."

Sherlock Holmes and the Unlikely Death is a futuristic sci-fi, murder mystery set on a mining vessel en route to the outer solar system. So far two books have been written in this series and having published this one, I am statiscally more likely to find an agent willing to represent the others.
