Mo's Seattle comedy Adventure

Yay! So I made it back into the Seattle comedy competition for the second time. The first time was in 2013 and I made it to the semi- finals. My hopes were to go back in 2015 and try again. That didn't happen because of my hospital stay and honestly, I wasn't physically capable of all the travel that goes with it. I was still touring but just doing short runs and it was pretty involved with bringing  a wheelchair, walker, and maybe a cane to get around. I'm better now, I even just recently started to ditch the cane. But, I need to ask you all for some help. I haven't been able to work as much as I normally did before all the surgeries and need a little financial help to do this contest.

I honestly need to raise about 1500.00 quickly.

Most of that money is going to go towards my flights, food, and transportation to and from the shows.




The completion goes 3 rounds over a 4 week period:




2 weeks of prelims

A semi final week

A finals week

My first week will be from November 2-6, 2016

5 shows in different venues throughout the Seattle area. If I make it through the prelims I'll go back two weeks later to participate in the semi-finals.

There's when the prize money begins to kick in but it's not that much until you make the finals.




My mantra during my hospital stay was, "I'm not done yet", and being accepted into this competition reassures this. I'm not done yet but I do need a bit of help to get there.




If I do a gofundme the only offers I could give right now is a back massage or if a lot of people from one area donate a free show what do you want from me? I really want to be the first comic from Memphis to win this.
