Midsummer Modern Mechanicals
Donation protected
We've come to break it down for all to hear!
What ancient truths will whisper 'bout your ear,
When a Midsummer's dream makes foggy clear,
That age old wisdom so familiar,
That art is vital; this we can't forget.
Appeal we to your heart not your regret
In asking what we ask of you, to set
Aside a bill or two, the bread of olde,
To pay mechanicals who bring the show!
We ask you not to profit but to eat.
And what experience could be more great
Than that which doubly serves all human states
Wherein the art that fills your mind and soul
It pays artists and keeps their bellies full!
