Robbie's Drama School Fund

Hi! My name is Robbie Noonan, I'm 19 years old, and an aspiring Musical Theatre Actor from Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. I first found my love for performing, when I joined a local choir called The Voice Squad at the age of 9. Since then I have not stopped performing. I have been involved in several local productions, charity gigs, Mayor's Concerts, national events and full-scale musicals (I was given lead roles in Les Miserables (Enjolras), Joseph and his Amazing Technicolored Dreamcoat (Joseph), Miss Saigon (John) and am about to tackle Sweeney Todd at the Apex, BSE.  At the age of 18 I set up my own A Cappella group called Amado and fundraised for us to tour Madrid, where we performed in the Ritz Hotel and a children’s hospital.  At the same I started teaching young people to sing and helped enter them into The Suffolk Festival of Performing Arts, at which I had won the vocal championship for 5 years running. I've also been working voluntarily as Assistant Musical Director for a number of local youth groups.

I have been lucky enough to have gained a place at The MTA - a Musical Theatre school with a 100% success rate. It also gained the Stage's Best School Award after 2 years of opening. However, the fees for attending a course with such prestigious statistics are not cheap. I am looking to find £28,000 to study in this amazing school...these are just the fees and there will of course be the associated cost of living in London. So I am putting out this heartfelt appeal for help, however big or small, from anyone who can manage it. Fingers firmly crossed that with the kind help from Go Fund Me donations, other sponsors and fundraising, I will be that one step closer to my aspirations.

This is a massive opportunity for me, and I'm extremely grateful for it. This money would mean that I can finally make the endless years of work take effect and progress to the next step of training. Thanks so much for taking the time to read this.
