Artist Seeking Patrons

The other day I checked into instagram and found that one of my favorite contemporary artists, Michael Klein is facilitating a Flower Painting workshop in Rome. (You can see his work at www.michalekleinpaintings.com) Most of you know that I am a self taught artist, researching and floundering my way through trial and error.  At times it truly feels like floundering, but mostly it's playful exploration.  This would be an opportunity to attend my very first workshop with an academically trained artist.....in Rome. Will you help me get there?  With retirement on the horizon,  I'm asking for your support to make this opportunity a reality.

I have set my goal at $1110, which will cover the workshop fee, air travel and 3 days accommodation in Rome. With it being a last minute opportunity, I have not accounted for this expense.  So I thought I would give this a try. Little money makes big money!! I'm looking to you, my family, my friends, my students, and clients to help make this happen. You all have supported me so much in the past and I am eternally grateful. For without you, I wouldn't be where I am today!! I would like to keep learning and growing artistically so that I may continue to share my knwoledge and experience. 

I'm not sure as to how many flower studies will be produced over this 3 day workshop, but whatever is created will be given as a token of my appreciation and gratitude for your support. At a minimum, one (randomly chosen) patron will receive the study painting as a gift. Depending on how many studies I produce over the course of the workshop, there may be one or two more to give. For every $5 you pledge to me, your name will be entered for the drawing. $10 pledge is 2 entries, $20 is 4 entries and so on.
