This section here is for me to tell you my story, the reason why I you should donate to my cause. And here is the short reason...it is my dream. A dream that I want so bad it pretty much brings me to tears. What is the dream you may ask?
To go to Scotland.
Now here is the long reason...a little more of an explanation. I studied abroad in Scotland over 10 years ago, and that country captured my heart. I haven't been the same since. And SINCE then, I have been trying my hardest to get back there. Saving money, applying for jobs, even entering in any contest that the prize is a trip to Scotland.
But, just like everyone else, life happens. Jobs are lost, cars break down, bills appear...and that dream that once seemed so close and reachable...becomes so dinstant. But even when things seem so distant, and it would seem the best bet would be to give up, I refuse to. I can't express to you the NEED for me to go back there. This may sound silly to some, but I feel like things will just fall into place for me once I get there. I will be able to be where I know I'm supposed to be.
I ask that you help me out, an little bit helps, to send me to Scotland. AND if you know me...just think, this will get me to shut up about wanting to go. So really, this is a win-win situation for everyone involved.
But all kidding aside, if you can spare the tinest bit, I would be forever grateful.
