MOTHER OF HOPE AND MERCY INITIATIVE-MOHAMI. MOHAMI is a charity initiative in Kenya that is mainly focused on empowering underprivileged young girls to pursue higher education and become independent.Education is important for both girls and boys alike but in a society where some communities still discriminate against the education of the girl child,it is important to find that balance.Education for the girl child means future educated genarations,decreased child marriages,decreased domestic and sexual violence,improved economical health and so much more.This is what MOHAMI stands for.It provides shelter for the girl who has no parents to take her to school,the girl evading early marriage,the girl evading FGM(female genital mutilation)and the girl who wants to further her education but has no means to do so.I became a part of this initiative because i believe educating the girl child means a better tomorrow for our society.Take this journey with me to make Kenya a better place by educating the girl child.Any kind of support is welcome.In the next couple of weeks we will be doing fun things to help raise fund to further this noble initiative.
