Bri's Journey To Italy

Hello!

My name is Briana Mayfield.  I am a junior student-athlete at Arundel High School, located in Gambrills, Maryland.  I maintain a 4.0 GPA while balancing my education (including AP and Honors courses).  I'm also an active member of the Student Athlete Leadership Council where I mentor students.  Because my parents instilled the importance of education, I have been an honor roll student throughout my school years.

Last November I was selected to play basketball for America's Team in Italy this summer, representing the United States in competition against local Italian club teams.  The America's Team is formed in conjunction with the American Council for International Studies.  During the nine day tour I will visit Milan, Florence, and Rome.

To be able to travel to Italy this summer and play with America's Team, I have to raise the funds to do so.  I would be extremely blessed and grateful to take part in this wonderful opportunity.  An experience like this is once in a lifetime that I will cherish forever.
