Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. has been forgotten by many of today's youth. Kids today need positive role models other than weed-smoking rappers, arrogant athletes, and dishonest politicians.
Dr. King is one good example of a positive role model. Due to the lack of attention given to positive role models like Dr. King, Abraham Lincoln, and Nelson Mandela in today's education systems and in society in general, we have decided to create a website dedicated to teaching children about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his works.
The website, titled "MLK Rocks!", will feature biographies of Dr. King and people like him, games, videos, lessons, and educational resources for parents and teachers.
MLK Rocks! will also have special contests and giveaways to allow our community to win some awesome prizes.
Your small donation will help us make this idea a reality. We have already begun production of the website and its resources, but we are severely short on funds and need a bit of help.
