Wallace's Surgery

Donation protected
Wallace is a Beagle that I rescued as a volunteer with Beagles and More Rescue.  When I rescued him from a high kill shelter he was heart worm positive.  A very good hearted woman volunteered to foster Wallace through his heart worm treatment.  Wallace made it through the heart worm treatment and his foster mom agreed to keep him until he found a forever home.  Life was going good for Wallace until a couple of weeks ago when he decided he should eat what we think was a toy.  Wallace became very ill from a blockage caused by what he had ingested and it became obvious that he had to have surgery.  The surgery was very extensive and dangerous.  He made it through the surgery and so far is recovering nicely.  Of course extensive surgery and around the clock care for several days came with a hefty price tag.  If you met Wallace though, you would know that he is so worth all that we went through to get him safe and well.

Beagles and More is a very small group of volunteers with very little funding.  Expenses like Wallace's surgery end up being paid out of the volunteers' own funds.  Without extra funding for these type of emergencies we become limited on the number of dogs we can save.  Please consider helping Wallace pay his Doctor bills! You'll be helping him and many other's that need our help.  Thanks!
