Mission Trip to Iraq

Dear Friends and Family,
I am writing this letter with much excitement for what God is doing in our lives and the lives of others! He is so faithful and powerful; I am in awe of Him. This May a group will be traveling to Iraq, to serve on a short-term mission team with Love For The Least. The group will consit of Steve and Paula Coffin, Teresa Parish, Nancy Borrett and I.
The purpose of this trip is to share the love of Jesus Christ through our words and deeds. Specifically, our time will be spent providing medical attention along with prayer. The group of people we will be serving have been affected by war and are in need of comfort and hope. As we minister to these people physically we will also get the chance to minister to them emotionally. By spreading Gods love and comfort to refugees of war we will hopefully leave the country of Iraq a bit brighter than before.
The mission trip dates are May 4th- 13th, so please keep those in mind as you prayfully consider the next step. The first and most important thing I am asking for is your prayers, as everything about this trip is in God’s capable hands. We are also asking for financial support if, and only if, God lays it on your heart to support in this way. We are SO grateful for the donations we have already received which will cover airline tickets and some of ground costs.
