The Miracle Fund

Camp Jean is a 501c3 all breed dog rescue that rescues the neediest of dogs in Kentucky. Miracle is a beagle who at 8 weeks old was left in a drop box at an Eastern Kentucky shelter in 30 degree weather with a crushed rib cage. Immediately upon finding her, she was rushed to Jean at Brighton Animal Clinic for care. X-rays showed that every rib on both sides are fractured, some ribs are fractured in more than one place. Her care just for the first 48 hours will exceed $2000 and her recovery will be slow and painful. And monies raised over the cost of her treatment will be put into an emergency medical fund in her name for future rescues. Please watch our Camp Jean Facebook page for updates.
