Hi! My name is Millie Tanner, but in cycling my nickname is Milliegoat. I am 17 years old, a category 2 cyclist (hopefully a cat. 1 soon), and I have raced in some amazing professional races like the Amgen Tour of California, and the Tour of Utah. I have been racing bikes for 9 years now, and finally my dream is coming true. What's my dream, you ask? Well since I was 11, I've dreamt about racing in Europe.
European racing is the big stage. The cycling culture is phenomenal, but the racing is even better. It is fast, physical, and a lot of the time, in the rain. The last few world champions, and olympic gold medalists are currently racing in Europe.
However, my dream of racing in the Netherlands, Belgium, England, Italy and many other countries, will not be able to happen without your help. The expenses to race in Europe is quite a lot. I want to help out my parents and relieve them of the financial stress it will put on my family.
