Helping military families reconnect

It has been a dream of my family's for a very long time to create a space where people, espescially military families, can reconnect through outdoor activities and quality time together without the distractions and stress of everyday life. I have seen families torn apart becasue they cannot seem to reconnect or understand each other after long deployments. 
We have decided to build a small sustainable farm that can support a retreat space for families. The goal is to create an environment that can sustain itself so that we do not have to charge military families for their stay. We do not want to make money off of this space, we just want to be able to provide a get away to the outdoors that families can go to for fun, adventure and relaxation. We hope to be able to provide all sorts of activities in the future, but the goal right now is to build a small cabin that can be rented to military members and their families for free.  The money we are trying to raise will not cover the entire process but will help get us started and make things happen a little quicker so that we can bring this opportunity to families in the near future.
