I have never liked the idea of gofundme but since so many friends of ours live in so many parts of the country and the world I think this is the best way to go about this.
As you probably already are aware, my wife Michelle (Shelly) Nettleingham has passed away. Those of you who knew her well understand how much pain she has endured in recent years, and I take comfort knowing she is now pain-free, at peace and in a better place.
Shelly and I have been together 30 years. She is the love of my life, and I will greatly miss her. Hug your loved ones now!
Shelly and I walked Discovery Trail daily and I think it would be fitting to raise a new memorial bench in her honor. The city charges $2,500 for a new bench and $1,500 to add a plaque to an existing bench that hasn't been memorialized. I have an excellent location in mind for a new bench and am asking for your help, no matter how little to help me make this a reality.
