Hello Family, Friends, Neighbours, Co-workers, Acquaintances and Supporters!
The City of Cambridge is in need of a day program for adults with developmental disabilities. The Michael Fleming Centre has been inspired by a young man in our community who is in need of such daily programing. Michael, like many other young adults who have developmental disabilities, enjoys being an active part of the community in a social and meaningful way. But there are very few places to attend once they graduate from High School. We have dreamed of an accessible, warm, welcoming program for many years now and are finally able to focus our energy towards reaching our goal!
In order to make our program come to life, we are looking for the support from our community! Your donations are crucial in helping us open.
Your contribution will go towards purchasing the following:
Sensory station
Computers
Art supplies
Adult changing table/ toileting supplies
Furniture
Books/Magazines
Games
Kitchen supplies
Music therapy
Stationary
