LAPEER, MI Animals & Pets

'Paddle' the puppy needs your help.
She was born with an extra, deformed paw attached to her front right leg.
When she was three days old, she had the appendage removed, but the vet is skeptical that she will be able to use the leg properly.
The idea of euthanasia was tossed around, but I (her owner) made it very clear that they would have to put me down before they lay a hand on this dog.
Amputation and a prosthesis will have to be the choice.
It is expensive and as a broke college student, I am having to rely heavily on my parents for help, but with obligations of their own, they won't be able to support her for long.

So, I'm asking you.

If you could please help Paddle, it would mean the world to her and myself.
You would be providing her with the chance at a wonderful, normal life.

Hi Alexandra and Paddle! Hope the vet got the stitches taken care of today. Please don't worry about sending a tee-shirt for the donation. I went to the spreadshirt site and ordered a couple of your shirts. I figure the money will be put to good use and by wearing the shirts I can help spread the word about Paddle. My husband (Warren) thinks I sometimes go overboard with my concern for animal welfare. Warren is almost blind so I usually pick out his clothes...one of these days I hope to get him to wear one of your shirts, too....even if he doesn't know it...LOL. You are a truly special woman for all you are doing for Paddle and I really admire you. Warren's wife, Marty
