Everybody deserves a Merry Christmas

In 2014, I decided to reach out to the less privileged children  in my community during the Christmas season to make their Christmas a memorable one, it was the Christian thing to do. These children lacked the basic necessities of life as well as basic tender loving care. They were even robbed of the simple joys of celebrating Christmas like other children with a family because they are mostly  orphans. I put together a campaign through the radio and TV  station I work at and people were very happy to help and donated clothing, food and other gifts to these children. My friends and I visited various orphanages, gave them these gifts, played with them and spent quality time with them. I was touched by their reaction and how overjoyed they were to see us, spend time with us, and accept our gifts to them. I also observed that some of these kids lacked basic education since they don't go to school and lacked medical care. Some of them were sick with non serious or life threatening illnesses that can be cured easily, but they lacked access to basic medical care and supplies. One of the orphanages we visited was burnt down and the children were basically homeless and hopeful of finding accommodation.
With all these in mind, I decided to to extend my campaign plans for these children this  Christmas season. So, in addition to clothing, food and other gifts, I am raising money to sponsor 
some of them in school and provide them with medical care. I have assembled  a team of doctors, nurses, dentists and pharmacists from my community that will visit these children with me this Christmas to ensure that they have a joyful and healthy Christmas season this year. All the money raised from this campaign will be used to provide medical care, scholarship, food and Christmas gifts for these children. To make this dream become a reality, I have partnered with RevFICO, a catholic priest and a Gospel artiste from the archdiocese of Los Angeles, California, USA to help and assist me raise some funds for these orphanages and these children. RevFICO and myself, Mc Olivia will be assisted by my friends to make this an annual outreach and we truly appreciate and thank you for your anticipated generosity because Everybody Deserves a Merry Christmas.
