Help Fund Hobo and Lefty

We're two lifelong friends who've decided to eschew our responsibilities and postpone paying our debts to live out of backpacks and wander around Europe.  It's an interesting enough place as it is, what with our being Americans who've never traveled out of our own hemisphere. 

We are especially fascinated with the fabric of the European Union being stretched this way and that by governments with a plan to enforce fiscal discipline and populations who are beginning to refuse to live precarious lives. 

We are intrigued by what is happening and want to learn about it first hand. To what purpose? Maybe we'll learn how to be better global citizens or maybe we'll just get into a lot of trouble; in any case we'll certainly have stories to tell. We intend to tell those stories through our blog, Hobo and Lefty. 

We're working to keep roofs over our heads and we could stay put doing volunteer labor at this farm or at that hostel with relative ease. However, we're also hoping to be present for and bear witness to some important events in far flung locations. We don't expect to live luxurious lives on other people's dimes but we think we could write better stories if we could move around with more freedom than our current finances allow. If what we're doing and writing about is at all interesting to you, throw us a few bucks here and there and we promise to use it in a way that makes it easier to be closer to the action.
