#MCsForMS5: For Multiple Sclerosis
Donation protected
Date: August 25th, 2018
Location: One Centre Square / Easton, PA
Time: OUTDOOR PORTION: 2:30PM TO 9:30PM INDOOR PORTION: 9:3OPM TO 2:00AM
MCS For MS is a charitable concert and vendor experience put together to raise awareness and funds to go towards researching a cure for multiple sclerosis. The standard definition for MS is a chronic, typically progressive disease involving damage to the sheaths of nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, whose symptoms may include numbness, impairment of speech and of muscular coordination, blurred vision, and severe fatigue. But to those afflicted it is so much more. It is something that can be manageable one day and a nightmare the next. The goal for this year is to raise $4,000 in charitable donations. Leading up to the event the primary fundraising source will be this GoFundMe page which will be in place to raise as much as possible beforehand while also giving those who cannot attend a chance to help out.
This year donations will go to The National MS Society and MS FitEffect, which is dedicated to teaching people with Multiple Sclerosis how to manage their symptoms with exercise and fitness.
The last 4 iterations raised a combined $10,000 and this year we believe we can reach our goal of $4,000 with your help! Lets make a difference in the lives of people who otherwise may not be able to do it!
